Bk5 Scene 2 finished

Posted by Mottis - February 28th, 2010

Wow, it looks like this will be the longest entry in the Bunnykill series thus far.
I've only completed 2 scenes out of a total (planned) five, and it's already over 7 minutes. I might consider splitting the movie in two, but we'll see about that.

Here's the second scene info:
Kills: 45
Enemy types: 3 (+1 new)
Different Screens: 4
Length: 3 minutes 47 seconds.
Total frames: 4765

Next scene is the main midboss I mentioned earlier. As usual, I'll let you know when it's done.

UPDATE:
Oh btw, just because I'm adding more kills, it doesn't mean that the midboss is dead quite yet ;)

Looks good!^^
I think this will be Snowball's killcount Record^^

Anyway, ready to vote five! (once again^^)

I don't know, splitting the movie when SB kills the midboss is a bit how BK3v1 ended. It is your choice, though.

By the way, it's over 9000 frames.

Well, if I'm going to split it, I will post both parts at the same time.

If you split it into 2 parts do it at the same time. Also 7min long! This is going to be great

That was my plan. I don't want to make Bk3-like cliffhangers anymore. ^^'

CAN NOT WAIT( take your time though) ^^

your killin me mottis i can hardly stand the wait!

nicely done, its sweet to see you've still made time for the fans and have fit alot of work into flash around your job.
I on the other hand need to stop slacking, ive been on my same scene the last 2 months, >:(
But keep the nice work, and dont rush it :D
Have a good one

wow! 7 min's already and only 2 scenes. i have high hopes with this BK. and about the splitting it in two...hhmmm idk i would really like to see the whole thing but what really matters is what works out for you. also if you need some music ideas i can give you a few names that i think would be good for a fighting flash video.

but i'll gladly wait for this movie to come out if you make it one in sted of two.

I would like nothing more than to post the whole thing as one file.
However the filesize might be an issue (yet again) though there are a few tricks I've learned that might help reducing it. I just checked and my upload size limit here is still 21Mb (thanks again, Tom! d^_^d) so we are just gonna have to wait and see how things go.

Please don't split it like BK3..
BTW.. ever though of asking for animations to be put on there own page in the series section?

Bleh.. Dont mind that Thing that I just said.. what I meant was
Ever though of asking the Admins about your animations to be put in there own page in the series section.
There.
(Sorry for the Grammar)

Don't worry man, I understood every word you said.

To be honest, I haven't given it that much thought. If the admins want to do that, it's completely fine with me.

wow , bigger than 7 minutes before the middle ?
Awesome , the more the better!

:D

We don't mind it being long :P By the way. Have you had any thoughts in the music department about BK5? What types of tunes are you going with time? Is it gonna be like in BK2, more like in BK4 or something new there? Just a little curious! ^^

If you haven't thought about it yet or just won't say anything about it because it's not official then i have another question. The thing is that here in Denmark it's constantly snowy. It snows then just lies there and when it seems like it's about to go away it comes again.
To sum up. My second question is how is the weather in Finland? :ยท]

Well, below you can see you already got your answer from the man himself. Rajunen will most likely be doing the music again, his stuff is awesome.

Oh, and yeah... Snowy. As hell.
I've spent the last few weeks shoveling snow daily at my work. My back is killing me O_O

Everion: I haven't started working on BK5's soundtrack yet, but I've had some ideas. Unless Mottis has better ideas or asks someone else to work on it, I'll probably be make something like BK2 and BK3.1, depending on the final product. I was thinking like, uhh, Metal Gear Solid's and Red Alert's soundtracks and Noise Unit (a side project of Frontline Assembly), perhaps? Of course, I advise NOT to get hyped about this, because I feel I'm pretty limited when it comes to samples, synths and skills, and in the end Mottis is the one in charge. :)

And the weather has been snowy. For the past two weeks trains have been constantly late and everyone's been outside shoveling that shit off the roofs and the streets. Now it's warmer, the snow is wet and heavy and it rains.

Go for it!!!! ^^

I have an idea for a new BK boss, perhaps for 6, ill post a hyperlink when i am ready to digress :D
Looking good so far, cant wait to see what surprises are in store this time around, splitting this movie into two has its positives and negatives. A positive would be no doubt you would have everybody (including myself) wanting more, its hard enough at the moment waiting for Madness Combat 6.5 from Krinkels. A negative would be that perhaps in comparison to BK4 in which, from when I started watching it, stretched well into the 9-10 minute mark, maybe you would be sacrificing a feature length piece and splitting it up into cliff hanger sequels may take away some of the atmousphere.

It's your movie at the end of the day and I am sure that whatever route you go down will be the right one.

Regards RR

Delightful.

For some reason i knew it was you the moment I read your comment :)

is there gonna be a character helping him like in 3 or 4?

Don't hold your breath on that one..... ^^'

Wow, that's some interesting specs you've assembled there. I'm really looking forward to what you can accomplish with this BK. This, along with Halo: Reach and Toy Story 3 are among the media releases this year that I have high hopes for.

Speaking of Halo, have you ever thought to look to that or other video games for inspiration? I know you played a truckload of Borderlands, so which game can you say has the most direct influence on your art style and story line?

Best of luck to you for this project.

I have always liked the Halo games. They are probably the best splitscreen games I've ever played, with Gears of War and Borderlands close second. So hell yeah I'm excited for Reach.

Bk3 was actually supposed to be heavily Halo-influenced, but in the end I decided to go with parodying star wars instead. I just felt that more people would understand it that way.

Oh, and thnx.

so read the low:
I have a bunny kill bitmap format that can not send you
but I can tell how he and name: harash, eye color dark blue, black clothes and have something to hide your nose, pointed ears has a
earring in left ear and his sword with a blue and Zinza type of black hair spiked.
ps: must have noticed and an idea for a boss bunny kill 6 or 7 or 8 hehe I do not exclude

Hey, Mottis, Rajunen! Heeello! How are you?

Good luck with BK, and.... Mottis, add a new kill soon :D

Bye

haha we're fine, thanks for asking.
