With Bk5.2 out of the way...

So, what now?

I've been rolling around a few ideas in my head for the next Bunnykill movie, and it pretty much comes down to one of two possibilities. Even though I WILL do both of these ideas, which one is up next is still under consideration and I wouldn't mind some input from you, my fans. I'd like to point out here that a direct sequel to Bunnykill 5 will not happen anytime soon, as I have very little interest in it even though it did kinda end up in a cliffhanger. I may do a "Bunnykill 5.3" sometime in the distant future, but my next 2 projects are currently set in stone:

1. Prequel to Bunnykill 5.
2. Fresh new Bunnykill 6 with new story and theme.

Before you make up your mind and jump headfirst into option #2, i'd like to point out the ups and downs of the 2 choises.

I'm personally a lot more excited about the prequel; there are a lot of ideas I had no room for in Bk5, so I had to scrap them. However making a prequel would give me a chance to use these ideas. The story would be rather simple; it would just show how Dust got captured in the first place. The doctor would play a slightly bigger part, and I would also present a completely new character, who was already referenced in Bk5. I also have a nifty idea for Dust's weapon that would add a lot to the choreography, yet be very different from what it was in Bk5.

As for Bunnykill 6, I already have a theme in mind. I was thinking a Gothic/Dmc/Castlevania kind of style, with a heavier emphasis on Snowball killing monster-like creatures rather than bunnies. The action would be balls-to-the-wall crazy too, kinda like the enraged Snowball from Bk4. However there is one thing to note. I haven't planned out this idea almost at all; I only have the general style thought up in my head. I would have to build everything from the ground up, including the story, characters, enemies, new weapons, effects, background, etc etc. This will take a LONG time compared to the Bk5 prequel, where I have a most of the graphics already done.

As I already said, I'm personally leaning heavily towards the Bk5 prequel so I might just go ahead and do that before Bk6, regardless of people's opinions. (Sorry!) But I want to hear what you guys think of these ideas :)

I choose prequel plox. But really, you can have a rest, you don't have to instantly work on the new one.

i wanna say something brand new that sounds cool to me. instead of a prequel to bk5... a prequel to bk 4. think about it : how ruby got there. a new episode where ruby is the hero. i like this idea. but even if u choose a bk5 prequel or a new one plz still put ruby in cuz she was awesome xD.

When I do Bk6, Ruby will definitely be in it, but I think she will be a villain of some sort, because I like to switch things around like that :)

I prefer bunnykill 6.
If you are going to choose the prequel please introduce a new final boss as smoke,dust or flint.

I think bk6 is the best choice because for once will see snowball fight things that aren't bunnies and to be honest I might get kinda bored if you do another one about 5

The only issue is how exactly Dust gets captured. The guy took on mobs, ninjas, miniguns, military helicopters and Snowball and won. It's not going to be easy coming up with a plausible explanation

both ideas sound pretty awesome but since you already have the plot of bk5 developed, i think doing that first would probably be best. i do like the idea of a devil may cry like bunnykill, as i'm a fan of the series (particularly dmc3). in any case, it'll be badass ^_^

Something I've always admired about your series as a whole is its ability to evade continuity error, with recurring characters assuming new roles.

Both Bunnykill 6 and the prequel to Bunnykill 5 sound very well-crafted, but I'll concede that I'm more excited for Bunnykill 6. However, I feel that it is best to wrap-up everything revolving around Bunnykill 5 before you go about introducing a whole new storyline in Bunnykill 6.

It may do you some good to release the prequel first, allotting yourself more time to work with pre-writing and conceptualizing Bunnykill 6.

Yeah I agree. Regardless of which is next, it will be aslgithly shorter compared to Bk5.1 or 5.2 I'd like to be able to upload movies more often.

That all sounds great, especially the prequel. I think people are gonna want more of Dust for a while now that we've seen what he can do. That gothic sounds epic, would that be like medieval weapons, or modern?
Anywho, you also said something about 'Scratch'?

Bk6 would have crazy weapons, and I have been thinking of an idea of Snowball stealing the enemies weapons, and being able to convert them into a 'super version' of the said weapon. like he kills a mid boss kinda enemy, steals his scythe, and now he has a huge scythe for a while, untill he finds a new weapon. He would always have his Katana with him though, to accompany the "secondary" weapons ;)

I dunno, just an idea. Still working on it.

Good work on bk5. Since you have some stuff done with the prequel I would suggest doing that first before a bk5.3 or a bk6 because I myself dislike seeing hard work go to waste. But its all your choice. Good Luck!

Sounds like if you made Bk6 first, the whole time you would be itching to get to work on the Bk5 prequel, so Bk6 could end up a bit rushed. Putting the vote for Bk5 prequel while Bk5's still fresh in our brains.

The way I see it is: If you're already working on the BK5 prequel, then why not finish it? I'm also interested in seeing how the whole plot to BK5 got started, so I think you should go ahead and do it. Also, is the character referenced called Scratch?

Well, I'm not working on it quite yet, I just have the idea and story ready. But all the graphics like backgrounds are already done because I'd be using the same ones that I used In bk5.1 and 5.2 ;)

This bk5 look like a matrix. In bk5.2 road scene look like a matrix 2 road scene. I like a bk4 theme couse this look like as old good epic fights of Bloodsport movie's theme o_O

Well, it looks like you are more interested in the prequel, and you do deserve to do what you want after all the effort and devotion you have put into bunnykill for the last few years. I think you should go with what you think is best, the prequel, and do Bunnykill 6 after.

first of all, long time viewer of BK :),

i think i speak for many on newgrounds when i say this, snow balls motto, a hero never dies, i think you should go with bk5, i think many want to see what happends to snowball, not htat he just die's, was a bit of a shok when dust acculy killed him,

speaking of with that he got smoke too.

Actually, Snowball is dead as far as Bk5 is concerned. He might make a cameo In the prequel, but I'm not sure about that yet. The "Heroes never die" was more about the fact that a hero's memory lives on after they die yada yada yada :P
