Ok, I can confirm that Bunnykill 5 will be uploaded in 2 parts. That much is certain. My computer simply cannot handle the task of exporting the movie in one go, and on top of that, there was another problem. Hear me out.

Remember how I mentioned that the movie stopped on it's own after a certain spot? yeah, it's supposed to do that. Apparently, once any flash movie reaches a timeline of 16 000 frames, it stops. So um, yeah. The movie is over 16 000 frames. WAY over, in fact, since it stops at the end of Scene 3.

Now, I realized that I can shrink the intro sequence into a single Movie Clip, which would take only one frame on the timeline, effectively giving me 650 more frames to work with, which is far more than enough to fit scenes 1-3 into "part 1"

So yup. 2 Parts. Might upload part 1 as soon as it's ready and part 2 later. We'll see.

Wow, this ended a lot better than I thought it would...

Wow, over 16 000, that is incredible.

Oh, and why don't you fit each scene into a movie clip as well? There a problem when that happens?

There's a few problems with that. Even if i could deal with the insanely tedious process of putting the scenes into Movie clips, I would still hit the "not enough memory" issue if i tried to export the whole thing. The intro was easy because it was so short. It took me only a few minutes to put into an MC.

Congrats!
I don't suppose you'd have any rough estimate on when part 1 could be completed, would you?

Soon. That's all I can say ;)

damn... 16000 frames, there will be so mubch action i hope....

So flash possible >16000 frames or only for your pc? Can you tell me please characterization of your pc and how long bk4 was exporting.

My comp is 64Bit W7 with 4 Gigs of ram and it took about 16 minutes to export the full Bunnykilll 5, before it started to give me that error message (which appeared about at 10mins every time)

However,
My friend Markku found the info about the frame limit on a Flash FAQ page. All flash movies have this limit, it has nothing to do with my computer. You can sidestep this problem by putting stuff into a single frame Movie clip, and then at the end of said movie clip, have a little actionscrip telling the movie to go to the next scene. I'll be using that a lot more from now on.

Screw quality over quantity when you can have BOTH!

so what date will the first part show up...i'm just curios 'cause you kept us waiting for a long time, but i feel that bk5 will be awesome hehehe...

It's getting close. Part 1 is technically done now, excluding for some brushing up and other minor things. Oh and the music.

Ok i know I'm gonna wait 2 years to see the full movie

can you make the boss the robot from bk3 remenber it made it into the escape pod if you went though the credits?

That was just a minor easter egg, nothing more. I have no plans to continue that story.

Sorry I couldn't offer you any constructive advice the other day... Glad it's going alright though :)

It's cool man you have no reason to apologize :)

2 parts, then? Well, no problem I suppose.

Good luck again.

Ps: It's a real problem, the frames...

Oh I get it. Your computer couldn't handle all that awesomness in one go so it figured that it needed to be in two parts. If it played all at once, then the computer would've exploded. Makes perfect sense!

Pretty much! :D

We could see this as bad news
But instead I see this as good news. Cause it's gonna be over 16.000 frames of goodness!
Bet every freaking frame is filled with awesomeness made by you!

And I continue to get more and more excited about this.

It certainly worked with Bk3 (Aside from the whole 2-year-delay-between-the-two-parts thing), so I don't see why it'd be any problem with bk5. Good luck finishing it up. :D

Can you say what's the gap between part 1 and part 2? After all, everything is finished, so that's why I'm wondering.
Also, could you tell when it's released?

My plan at this time is to have Part 1 out this month, and part 2 the next. But we'll see how that goes.

Whoa... thats a lot.... oh well... -_-
